Prepare Meals
Our guests love meals and baked goods. Cook and bake in our beautiful kitchen at the Fisher House or in the comfort of your own home and deliver. Let us know if you have a school group, church group, sports team, sorority/fraternity, etc. interested in cooking dinner or baking for the guests at the Fisher House. Contact a House Manager at one of our Fisher Houses of your choosing to coordinate. Fundraise Fundraising on a small or large scale, individuals or corporation are always welcome. We are grateful for individuals, groups, and companies that partner with us in unique, creative ways to fundraise and support the mission of the Friends of Fisher House Puget Sound. Contact liz@fisherhouse vaps.org to coordinate. Organize and Support Help organize or clean the kitchen, storeroom, library & other areas of the House OR support guests and their loved ones. Outside Guest Area A peaceful healing indoor and outdoor environment supports guest restoration. Dedicated volunteers and business groups often arrange gardening groups to trim, prune, weed and maintain the surrounding landscape. You are welcome to work individually or in small groups on your schedule to care for the the outdoor guest area at a Fisher House near you. Contact a House Manager at one of our four Fisher Houses to coordinate. Seasonal Decorator Volunteers are welcomed to assist in decorating the Houses and helping to prepare for holidays and special occasions.
