The "Friends" recognize that there is nothing better than a family's love and support to sustain our service members during stressful times of illness and injury. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in Washington State, Friends continues to raise funds and awareness to provide operational support to the programs of four existing Fisher Houses in Washington state: VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle, Portland VA Health Care System in Vancouver, and Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
