It's a bright, cold and beautiful day in the Northwest. The holidays are wrapping up (it's the 7th day of Christmas, in case you've lost track) and soon we'll all be getting back to work and "real life. (First up on my to do list? Writing about 412 'thank you' notes for all the incredibly generous donations that came in during my vacation! We have the most amazing donors on the planet).
But here, on the cusp of a new year - full of all the hope and promise that comes with it - the Friends of VA Puget Sound Fisher House would like to say 'thank you'. Thank you to aforementioned amazing donors. Thank you to our incredible volunteers - especially those who spent their own holidays making making feasts for the families in the House. Thank you for caring so much for our Veteran and military families, for making sure that they have a peaceful place to call home.
There will be lots of stories to tell in 2015; we're looking forward to sharing them with you.
Happy New Year!
