VA Puget Sound Fisher House is proud to have the support of many fine service groups and auxiliaries.  These groups provide in-kind donations, financial support and volunteer hours to help us create a peaceful, comfortable home for the families of veteran patients.  We thank them for their many contributions and kindness.

VFW

`The Veterans of Foreign Wars and its Ladies Auxiliary have a rich tradition in enhancing the lives of millions through its community service programs and special projects.  From providing free phone cards to our nations's active-duty military personnel to raising money for the World War II memorial, the VFW is there, "honoring the dead by helping the living".

The VFW continues to be a strong voice for veterans and the catalyst for change in improving veterans benefits.

The VFW and Ladies Auxiliary are proud to support the Fisher House through financial donations, in-kind donations and volunteering.

Soldier's Angels

With 30 different teams supporting all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, the Soldier's Angels live their motto:  "May no soldier go unloved".  Through special projects, dedicated teams and individuals supporting our troops, Soldier's Angels make a visible difference in the lives of our service members, veterans and their families.   Soldier's Angels have demonstrated their support of the VA Puget Sound Fisher house through donations, service and planning events.

Disabled American Veterans (DAV)

The 1.2 million-member Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is a non-profit 501(c)(4) charity dedicated to building better lives for America’s disabled veterans and their families.

The DAV was founded in 1920 by disabled veterans returning from World War I to represent their unique interests. In 1932, the DAV was congressionally chartered as the official voice of the nation’s wartime disabled veterans.

Local DAV chapters have provided VA Puget Sound Fisher House with vacuum cleaners, a Wii system and their on-going friendship and financial support..
