"I Ride for Fisher House"
Support the families of local hospitalized veterans, and sign up for the inaugural "I Ride for Fisher House" bike ride October 3rd. The ride will be a 30-mile route around the South end of Lake Washington, ending at the VA Puget Sound Fisher House. Riders are encouraged to raise $500 as an entry fee and all proceeds will go to support Fisher House -- a "Home away from home" for families of veterans who are receiving care at VA Puget Sound. Completely free for the families, Fisher House has helped prove that "A family's love is the best medicine" for more than 400 families since opening in September of 2008.
Sign up now, as only the first 100 registered riders are allowed to take part in this unique opportunity to support your local VA Puget Sound Fisher House.
Highlights of the ride:
- Ride across the Lake Washington 1-90 floating bridge
